For centuries, this famous Chinese tea was believed to be a universal remedy and a cure against all diseases. Today, modern research has taught us even more about the powers of drinking ginseng tea.

Ginseng tea boosts sexual prowess. Ginseng is one of the oldest medicinal plants known to be helpful in improving sexual stamina. In ancient China, the herb was commonly used to treat sexual dysfunction of males. Recent studies by scientists at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine reveal that ginsenosides in ginseng root can greatly improve sexual function. Scientists found that both Asian and American ginseng roots show this merit (Read Studies #1, #2). The University of Maryland Medical Center also suggests that ginseng can increase testosterone levels and sperm production. (Read Study #3)

Ginseng tea protects your brain. A couple of years ago, a small Chinese trial found that a ginseng compound could improve memory performance among those suffering from stroke-induced dementia. A recent study revealed that compounds in ginseng protect the brain against the effects of degenerative diseases such as Huntingdon’s. They believe that certain ginsenosides in ginseng may act against oxidative damage that contributes to conditions like the notorious Parkinson’s disease. (Read Study #4)

Ginseng reduces cancer risk. Researchers have found proof that ginseng root has strong properties that can help prevent inflammation that leads to stomach, liver, pancreas, pharynx, and colon cancers. In work with mice, the scientists found that compounds in ginseng root are able to inhibit the growth of tumors. (Read Study #5) The same finding was also reported by medical researchers at a top university in South Korea. (Read Study #6)

Ginseng tea helps relieve cancer-related fatigue. It is known that fatigue, lethargy, and low energy levels can have a negative impact on cancer patients. A recent study conducted by the Mayo Clinic suggests that cancer patients who take a regular dose of ginseng have higher energy levels than those on placebo. And the more you drink ginseng, the more energy and vitality you will have. (Read Study #7) The results of the study were presented at the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology as a possible therapy for cancer-related fatigue. (Read Study #8)

So stop feeling tired, put some energy into your life, and drink another cup of that great ginseng Chinese tea!
