Oolong Chinese tea has a reputation of promoting good health, and rightly so.

 

Scientific studies have shown that oolong tea can reduce your risk of heart disease. The top cause of heart disease is a high cholesterol level. In a study conducted in Taiwan in 2004, M.D. Yi-Ching Yang and his colleagues found that regular consumption of oolong tea, about 120 ml per day for a year, significantly reduced the risk of developing hypertension. His study is published in the Archives of Internal Medicine (Read Study #5).
